EDPUZZLE

 

Hello everyone, welcome again! Today I am going to introduce Edpuzzle to you for your online classes. Basically, Edpuzzle is a teaching tool used place interactive content into pre-existing videos from a variety of sources, such as TED or YouTube, or into videos you have made. To create an account you should navigate to edpuzzle.com. 

Firstly, you need to sign up for sure and choose your role as a teacher. You can sign up with your Google Account if you wish. After you sign in, the app wants you to select your school. After selecting, you are required to choose grade level of your students and subjects. You can add more according to your schedule. Finally, now you can start to use Edpuzzle for your distance teaching. 

With Edpuzzle, you can choose videos among millions of sources or you can reuse videos that made by other teachers. You can embed your questions to chech your students knowledge, you can cut a video to sections just to show the important part of the video. You can also add multiple questions in-between. You can even do a voice-over if you need to. In Edpuzzle, there is "prevent skip" button with which you can make sure that all of your students watch the video without skipping.
