NEARPOD

 

Hello everyone! This is the last post of the tool flood and today I am going to introduce Nearpod to you. Nearpod enables all your classes to be interactive. 

To create an account you need to navigate to nearpod.com and click to the sign up button saying "TEACHERS". You can sign up either you Google or Microsoft account. When you choose one to sign up, you will be asked to select subjects, grades and your primary role. After you have met with the requirements, Nearpad gives you the instructions and tries to show you how to use it. It also gives you a chance to play a demo to fully understand where you can practice the tool before using it. 

With Nearpod, your classes become interactive thanks to the opportunities it provides. For example, you can use virtual reality activities, gamified quizzes while teaching.  Furthermore, as the teacher, you will always know where your students are individually. In addition to all, you can use videos, images and texts from various sources and you can add questions to make it interactive. Last but not least, you can even reuse other sources made by other teachers that saved to Nearpod's library.
