PEARDECK

 Hello everyone! Today I am going to introduce you to a new application you can use when online teaching which is "Peardeck". Peardeck is basically used for making your google slides presentations interactive. It enables students to engage in individual and social learning. 

All you need to do is going to the website of Peardeck which is https://www.peardeck.com/googleslides

and then clicking "Teacher Login" firstly. It will give you two options. You can either login with your Google Account or your Microsoft Account. Afterwards, it will ask you to set up your account and to choose if you are a teacher or a student, etc. Then, it will authorize your account with Google. After it is done, Peardeck wants your postal code and school. When you have done all the requirements, your pofile is completed and ready to be used. 

With this app, when you create a slides presentation, you are able to add multiple choice questions into your slides, or too add a mini-box in which your students can write down their thoughts and answers. You can even use a map on which students can spot their answers according to the flow of your presentation. So, Peardeck is very beneficial for distance teaching when it comes to the biggest problem of it, which is not being able to interactive.
